Resident Training Modules
These modules are presented by clinical psychology trainees to pediatric residents at the beginning of the residency rotation with the continuity clinic. These 10 minute didactic modules provide the rationale and basic information for screening for intimate partner violence (IPV) within the pediatric clinic. Pediatric residents then pair with clinical psychology trainees who model screening for IPV during the pediatric visit. Pediatric residents then obtain proficiency and comfort with the screening and ultimately conduct the screening, unaccompanied, with all appropriate clinical cases.
